A huge thank you everyone who has supported Operation Gamechanger so far. Through a combination of government grants, philanthropic trusts, donations, fundraising events and our own contributions we have almost finished our $40 million expansion plan on our 100 acre farm on the rural outskirts of Mansfield.
Our new property now has a new school building, 12 retreat cabins where we hold family camps and carer retreats, skill building stay houses, a meeting hut, a multipurpose activity centre and new office space, and a perimeter walking track. We are so thrilled to be providing supports and services from our new facilities, and to be seeing the benefits of being on 100 beautiful acres for our clients, students and families.
We aren’t done yet! We continue to raise funds for our equine therapy program, swimming pools, a horticulture program and farm animals.
Thank you to the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments for the significant funding support to date equating to ~$15.5m, matched by Mansfield Autism.
Thanks also to the many local businesses, community and philanthropic trusts that have made significant contributions.
