The Allied Health team offer a range of services for clients engaged with Mansfield Autism both remotely and in Mansfield.

Working with individuals and their families to improve their ability to perform activities ('occupations') that children and young people need and want to do in their everyday lives. These include:

Self-care skills (dressing, feeding, sleeping, toileting)

Social and emotional skills

School performance

Fine & gross motor skill development

Sensory Processing

Independent Living Skills

Working with individuals and their families to develop functional communication skills which in turn can lead to improved self-confidence, a greater sense of belonging in the community and overall enhanced quality of life.

At Mansfield Autism we offer:

Consultations & parent training

Assistance in implementing robust and functional communication approaches through the use of a range of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies.

Two Allied Health Assistants work alongside the Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist and are based at the Mansfield farm.

For Mansfield based clients, our therapists develop and oversee a therapy plan that is delivered by our trained allied health assistants. Allowing for regular intervention to meet client NDIS goals.

Our therapists and assistants are specialists in autism and have a unique understanding of the complex needs of our clients.
