Branching Out
Respite farm stays for autistic young adults aged 18 to 25 years. Designed to empower young adults and support carers.
Mansfield based
Our respite farm stay offers autistic young adults a supportive and enjoyable short-term stay in a fun and social environment with their peers. Our 100 acre farm provides a calm, natural environment – great for sensory regulation. We are based in Mansfield, the gateway to the High Country.
Building independence
Young adults can practice daily living skills in a supportive environment. We encourage them to make choices, set goals, and explore personal interests. Our highly skilled team specialises in autism; we offer consistent routines, predictable environments and autism strategies to support young people.
Making connections
Opportunities for social connection and making new friends. Our young adult respite house is just for young adults; they can meet their peers, try new things together and enjoy small group outings to a range of local places.
Health and wellbeing
We ditch the screens and engage in other activities for health and wellbeing. Activities include bushwalks, fishing, sports, cooking, games and craft. We are guided by what the young person likes to do and encourage them to explore new hobbies. Downtime is supported in quiet, low-arousal spaces.
A break that benefits everyone
Our goal is to create a space where young adults can grow, explore and thrive – while carers enjoy peace of mind and time to recharge.
