Branching Out
Respite Farm Stays for autistic young adults aged 18 to 25 years. Supporting Carers. Empowering young adults.
Mansfield based
Our Respite Farm stay offers autistic young adults a supportive and enjoyable short-term stay in a fun and social environment with their peers. Our 100 acre farm provides a calm, natural environment – great for sensory regulation.
Building independence
Young adults can practice daily living skills in a supportive environment. They can make choices, set goals, and explore personal interests.
Making connections
Opportunities for social connection and meaningful participation. Young adults can enjoy small group outings to local community spaces.
Health and wellbeing
We ditch the screens and engage in simple activities for health and wellbeing. Participants love getting outdoors and enjoying nature.
Activities
Participants enjoy nature walks, gardening, and sensory-friendly outdoor experiences, as well as games, crafts, cooking and movement activities. Downtime is supported in quiet, low-arousal spaces.
A break that benefits everyone
Our goal is to create a space where young adults can grow, explore and thrive – while carers enjoy peace of mind and time to recharge.
