Centre of Excellence Therapeutic Care Farm

In 2021 we bought a 100 acre farm on the outskirts of town and started to build our dream of a therapeutic care farm. Fast forward a few years and we are operating from our new facility, which includes a new school building, purpose built cabins for family camps, residences for skill building stays, respite and crisis care, recreational facilities, activity centre and walking tracks.

Most of this development was funded through grants from state and federal governments, with contributions from philanthropic trusts and donations, and our own significant investment.

The next phase for us is working to become a Centre of Excellence in autism service delivery, allowing us to offer more to autistic children and their families, including equine therapy, therapeutic horticulture, work experiences and more.

Every dollar raised or donated will help us become a Centre of Excellence Therapeutic Care Farm and be able to support many more children and their families.

Volunteer

We would love a hand. Your skill set and enthusiasm may be just what we need. We do have project working bees throughout the year.

And the development of the farm will uncover all manner of opportunities.

We know your time is valuable, but if you think you can help out please let us know.

Goods

Mansfield Autism has a healthy list of things we need for the farm and for our ongoing programs.

If you have goods, services or equipment that you are happy to donate and you think may be of value to us, please contact us.

Recent donations of goods include a fire pit, a whipper snipper, bicycles and noise cancelling headphones.
