About Mansfield Autism

Mansfield Autism Statewide Services has over 50 years’ experience in providing services for families living with autism and a remarkable track record of excellence, Founded by Dr. Joan Curtis, Mansfield Autism was established to address the lack of services available in rural Victoria, driven by a belief that “the child’s family are their most important teachers, and we aim to give them the understanding, the confidence and the determination necessary for the successful parenting of their child – ‘that is our goal, and nothing less is enough.’

We would be delighted to discuss your gift and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of autistic children for years to come. How to leave a gift in your will to Mansfield Autism Statewide Services

We gratefully receive any gift left to us. You might:

Give a residual gift – the remainder of your estate is gifted after all your specific gifts have been distributed and debts paid. Residual gifts retain their value over time (unlike a specific cash gift that can reduce in value with inflation).

Give a pecuniary gift – a specific sum of money.

Give a percentage of your estate – no matter the value of your final estate, the proportion you intended for Mansfield Autism will remain the same.

Give a specific gift – a very specific item, such as a vehicle, property or other personal effect.

Suggested Wills Wording

I give and bequeath to Mansfield Autism Statewide Services (ABN 14006171580) (the whole of my estate) or (% of my estate) or (residue of my estate) or (the sum of $) or () detail the assets you wish to give. Free of all duties and tax, and that it may be applied for:

A. The general purposes of Mansfield Autism in such a manner as the CEO or Board may determine.

OR

B. The support of program, purpose or specific area, namely: ______. If this program ceases to exist or does not require ongoing funding, then it is to be used for general purposes.

I declare that the receipt of the CEO or other authorised person of Mansfield Autism Statewide Services will be sufficient discharge for my trustees.
