Family Camp

Family camps are for the whole family, providing time to relax, recharge & connect with others while your child builds social, recreational and communication skills.

Camp based

Practical and inclusive support and respite in a camp environment, for the whole family.
Our camps run for five nights, with a focus on being in nature.

Making connections

divider_bubbles_lime
It is the community of camp that makes it so special. Families find immense value from the support of other families going through similar experiences. Autistic young people meet and support each other. Parents connect and have time together. Siblings enjoy their own program. Camps provide parents with much needed respite, as children are supported by trained staff.

HUGE success!! Our son took part in everything – he tried everything and actually participated and engaged – it has felt almost miraculous to see him here – to see how safe he felt & perhaps the happiest I’ve ever seen him.

“The education that we received was unbelievable. After parenting this child for 11 years and having no idea what was going on, I am now more aware of how my son thinks.”

“My husband and I have not had a real rest together since having our child. Our lives are a constant relay of taking turns looking after our children. We actually unwound on this camp knowing everything was sorted.”

How to access a Family Camp

Families will require specific funding within the clients’ NDIS plan.

Once we have received an expression of interest, our team will be able to provide specific funding advice. The funding requirements will vary depending on duration and support needs.
