School
We want students to feel a sense of belonging and connectedness while at school.
Education at Mansfield Autism

Our school is located at 128 Ogilvies Road in Mansfield, Victoria. We support students aged 5 – 18 years. We aim to provide an education that helps your child connect, belong and grow.
We want students to connect with others, their learning and the environment. In doing this we support students to feel a sense of belonging, self assurance and growth
Our core focus is on students’ physical & mental health and wellbeing.
We work towards skills to strengthen a student’s sense of connection and belonging, providing our students with a safe space to be themselves.
It is important to us to understand our community. We know that autism can impact children and families in unique ways. We want to foster a genuine, open and authentic partnership with our community. We are extremely proud of our person-centered programs, and we celebrate the successes and achievements of our young people.

Our teaching philosophy

We are committed to keeping up to date with best practice in both teaching pedagogy and neuro-affirming practices. The Autism Cooperative Research Centre (Autism CRC) Guiding Principles help us to know what is most important when supporting autistic children, young people and their families. We aim to provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum which is challenging, appropriate and differentiated for individual needs.
